Some people fast for nine days during Navratri fast. People worshiping the goddess follow different rules of fasting. This year Sharadiya Navratri is going to start from 26th September. If you want to lose weight along with devotion, you will have to take care of your diet. Here are some things that you should include in your diet, which will also reduce weight and boost immunity.

1) Coconut water

Coconut water contains carbohydrates, protein, cholesterol, dietary fiber, folate, niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, riboflavin, thiamin, vitamin-C, vitamin-A, vitamin-E, vitamin-K. You can drink one to two coconut water a day. This will not reduce water in your body and it will also boost your immunity.

2) Soaked dry fruits

During fasting you can eat soaked dry fruits for breakfast. By eating it you will get many nutrients and it will prevent weakness. Soak these dry fruits overnight to include them in your diet.

3) Papaya

Stomach problems are often caused by not cleaning the stomach during fasting. In this case, eat papaya during fasting. Papaya is rich in Vitamin C. This will keep your stomach clean and the risk of food poisoning after breaking the fast will also be removed.

4) Milk
