Assault: Cedar Road
A woman reported being shot with a BB gun by occupants of a car that drove by her as she was exiting Planet Fitness Aug. 9. No suspects were identified.
Theft: Sheffield Road
A package containing medicine was reported to have been stolen off a resident’s front steps Aug. 8.
Theft: Warrensville Center Road
Two 18-year-old women were cited at Walmart Aug. 9 for the combined theft of 58 items, valued at $637. They were banned from the location.
Theft: Warrensville Center Road
A shoplifter became combative with store security at Walmart Aug. 8 after being confronted over a $271 theft of 27 items.
An off-duty officer intervened, but the woman still struggled and resisted arrest. A Taser had to be used to bring the 24-year-old Cleveland resident into custody. She was subsequently arrested for theft and resisting arrest.
Recovered property: Tamalga Drive
A stolen vehicle was located Aug. 13 while officers were checking on overnight parking violators. The vehicle had been stolen out of Lorain and was subsequently towed at the request of that agency.
Overdose: Mayfield Road
A man suffered a suspected overdose at the Tiki-Time Bistro Aug. 11. A bartender administered CPR until paramedics arrived and revived the man with Narcan.
The Lyndhurst man, 25, was taken to the hospital for treatment. Officers collected drug paraphernalia as evidence.
Theft: Warrensville Center Road
A woman reported Aug. 10 that she had left her wallet at the self-checkout at Walmart Aug. 9. She later learned that is was taken by an unknown person who tried to use credits cards that were in it.
Officers tried unsuccessfully to identify a suspect through surveillance video.
Domestic violence: Warrensville Center Road
A woman was arrested for domestic violence Aug. 11 after an incident involving her husband at their home.
