Slash Fitness, a state-of-the-art personalized indoor/outdoor training facility in Delray Beach, has launched a new youth fitness program for kids ages 8 to 15.
Designed to provide a fun and safe experience for kids to learn the basics of exercise while teaching them the importance of teamwork, effort, responsibility and respect, the program is in partnership with Premier Youth Training.
“I tried two other gyms before Slash,” said Frankie Benedetto, 12. “There is no comparison. Slash has pushed me harder than I could imagine while keeping it fun and safe.”
Specific topics covered during the classes include dynamic warm-up, technique overview, conditioning, fitness games/challenges, mindset training, weightlifting fundamentals, barbell training and more.
“Our goal is to inspire and motivate young athletes of all ages and skill levels to be their best,” said Joe Ardagna, co-owner of Slash and father of two. “Whether it’s becoming stronger, leaner, or quicker, we aim to help kids not only achieve their goals but to have fun along the way.”
Classes are offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. (depending on age) throughout the summer.
